Meeting Information

Monthly meetings are usually held the 1st Tuesday of each month except June, July, and August when we do not meet.

Please note:Meeting attendees should park in the parking garage. NAPM FW will pick-up the parking fee.

Social/Networking hour begins at 5:30p.m. and the general membership meeting begins at 6:00p.m. Dinner and parking are without cost to all active members and their prospective member guests. Parking ticket is validated at the meeting.

Reservation

To register for the upcoming Dinner Meeting please email all registrations and cancellations to fwpurchasing@hotmail.com, or they can be made by calling Susan Hurst at 972.453.7430.

If you are bringing a potential member, please add their names in the body of the email. You can only attend one time as a guest. If you are a non member or returning guest, the fee is $30.00. This covers the event, meal, and parking.

All meeting registration deadlines are the Friday before the event. Due to restrictions in accommodations, we cannot accept reservations after this point. If you must cancel your reservation, please do so by noon the day before the event so we do not incur the cost of uneaten meals.

Tom Shelton, P.E., A.I.C.P.
Senior Program Manager
North Central Texas Council of Governments

Mr. Shelton is Senior Program Manager leading the new Streamlined Project Delivery Team at the North Central Texas Council of Governments.  Tom has over 29 years in a wide range of transportation planning and design projects, including large-scale, multidiscipline rail and transit projects, including rail and transit system planning and design, including serving as Project Director or Project Manager on a number of regionally-significant assignments.  His specific project experience ranges from multi-county regional transportation plans, engineering and cost analyses, to serving as Project Manager for final design of rail and transit improvement projects.   Some of his more notable projects include the Tower 55 Rail Reliever Study, Rail North Texas Regional Rail Corridor Study for NCTCOG, the DFW International Airport light rail alignment study for Terminal D, and multiple DART corridors extensions.


Mr. Shelton received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Southern Methodist University and is a Professional Engineer in Texas and a Certified Planner.  He is proudly married to his wife, Kay, and has a son, Jacob, and daughter, Sara.

Currency Plant Tour
March 26, 2010

ISM-Fort Worth will be touring the currency plant north of Fort Worth on March 26, 2010.

The tour is free.

We plan to have lunch at a local restaurant and then travel to the plant for security screening at 1:00. We should be finished touring the plant by 3:00.
